  1. Buddy Holly’s lifestyle was beyong reproach. That’s my opinion since reading the Lubbock website for the last six months or so. He was the original good guy who entertained his audiences and I would imagine his morals were second to none — almost certainly due to his Baptist upbringing. I first remember his record ‘I Guess It Doesn’t Matter Anymore’ being played on a juke box in England at the age of 13 and after that I was hooked on his music. If he had lived, with the best songwriters that America could provide, he would surely have become far more famous than he even is now. He certainly has put Lubbock on the map.

  2. Hi! I admire Mr. Buddy Holly since I was 7 years old. My parents used to listen to his music and I just loved it. Then, when they told me he died in a plane crash at such a your age, I felt very sad. Later, I understood his memory and talent will be with us forever. I love to sing his songs as a humble tribute to him and for all the people whose lives were touched by him.
